Wouter ter Maat (born May 7, 1991 in Rijssen ) is a Dutch national volleyball player .
Career
Ter Maat started his career with Rivo Rijssen in 2008. While he played in the club in his hometown, with which he made promotion from the fifth division several times, he also worked as a car mechanic . In 2014 he moved to Landstede Zwolle . The diagonal attacker won the national cup and championship double with Zwolle in 2015. He then went to Belgium to VDK Gent . At the end of the season he was named the best player in the league. With the Dutch national team he took part in the 2016 World Volleyball League . Then he was hired by the German champion Berlin Recycling Volleys , with which he was able to defend the title in 2017. Then ter Maat moved to France to Paris Volley .
