Wreech is the name of an old Neumark noble family .

history

The family first appeared in a document on January 25, 1278 with the knight Gerhardus de Wreech in Neu-Landsberg. The form of the name changed between Wrech, Wreich and Wreech. The coat of arms is identical to that of Jagow , which comes from the Altmark .

On October 2, 1786, the royal Prussian chamberlain Ludwig von Wreech was raised to the Prussian count status.

  • The family coat of arms shows a six-spoke silver wheel in blue. On the helmet with blue-silver covers an open silver flight.
  • The count's coat of arms from 1786 shows an eight-spoke silver wheel in blue. On three helmets with blue-silver covers on each side a black wing, in the middle the open white fluig of the main helmet. Two royally crowned, resisting black eagles serve as shield holders.
