Wu Yue (born January 4, 1990 in Beijing ) is an American table tennis player of Chinese descent. She took part in the 2016 Olympic Games .

Career

Wu Yue was born in China and started playing table tennis when he was eight. In 2008 she moved to the USA, to New York. Here she was given the nickname Jennifer . She received American citizenship at the end of 2015 .

In the same year she won gold in singles and with the American team at the Pan American Games in Toronto. This authorized her to participate in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. She came with the team in ninth place. In the singles she won against Eva Ódorová (Slovakia), then she was eliminated against the Swede Matilda Ekholm .
