Wuhr Corporation
A Wuhrkorporation is a corporation of public law in Switzerland , the task of water conservancy and the proper water maintenance is such as torrent control . The word "Wuhr" is a variant of " Wehr ".
Wuhr corporations exist in the Swiss cantons of Schwyz and, until 1983, Thurgau . In the canton of Obwalden this corporation is called the Wuhrgenossenschaft . In the canton of Bern , this task is carried out by the threshold corporations.
