World of wisdom is an infotainment - magazine of the TV station ProSieben . The program was broadcast on Sundays from 2005 to 2007 at 7:10 p.m. in Germany on ProSieben and in Austria on ProSieben Austria . In Austria, Wunderwelt Wissen was the most watched infotainment program in all KaSat households.
Wunderwelt Wissen was moderated by Robert Biegert and produced by Story House Productions , which also produced the Galileo Mystery program and created documentaries and contributions for ZDF , History , the Discovery Channel and the National Geographic Channel .
A magazine of the same name was published by Hubert Burda Media in 2005 and by Gruner + Jahr from 2007 to 2018 . It was published quarterly from March 2007, bimonthly from May 2009 and monthly from August 2010. The sold circulation was 143,222 copies in the second quarter of 2009 and then fell to 35,698 copies in the first quarter of 2018.
The previous magazine Welt der Wunder went on air on March 10, 1996 and was then moderated by Hendrik Hey for almost eight years . At the beginning of 2005, the production company Welt der Wunder GmbH changed after a dispute over various licenses and went to RTL II .
In November 2007, ProSieben announced that the program would be canceled at the end of the year. Instead, a Sunday edition of Galileo has been broadcast since then .
As part of the program presentation of the station Sat.1 Gold , ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG announced that Wunderwelt Wissen will receive a slot on Sat.1 Gold from 2013. Since then, the format has been moderated by Christian Mürau, who had previously handed over his show Adventure Life on kabel eins to Andreas Türck . From 6 April 2017, the shipment will be on Thursdays at 23:05 by Thomas Ohrner moderated.
