Wussegel is a district of the town of Hitzacker (Elbe) in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The place is 2 km east of the core area of Hitzacker directly on the north flowing Elbe .
history
On July 1, 1972, the municipality of Wussegel was incorporated into Hitzacker together with the municipalities of Bahrendorf , Grabau, Harlingen , Kähmen, Nienwedel, Seerau, Tießau and Wietzetze .
