Harlingen is a district of the town of Hitzacker (Elbe) in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The place is three kilometers west of the core area of Hitzacker.
The Harlinger Bach flows on the southern edge of the village and flows into the Hitzacker See in Hitzacker .
About two kilometers northwest of Harlingen is the giant bed 2 of the giant beds of Wietzetze .
history
On July 1, 1972, the municipality of Harlingen was incorporated into Hitzacker together with the municipalities of Bahrendorf , Grabau, Kähmen, Nienwedel, Seerau, Tießau , Wietzetze and Wussegel.
