Xaver Affentranger (born December 1, 1897 ; †?) Was a Swiss ski jumper , Nordic combined skier and cross-country skier .

Affentranger lived in Kriens and started for the then leading ski club in Lucerne .

Affentranger competed in all three disciplines at the 1924 Winter Olympics . He reached the 24th place in jumping from the normal hill. In cross-country skiing over 18 km he came in 22nd place. In the combiners he came in 17th place.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Johannesbad in 1925 Affentranger won the bronze medal in the individual Nordic Combined, behind the two Czechoslovaks Otakar Německý and Josef Adolf .

After his active career, he ran a sports shop on Winkelriedstrasse in Lucerne .
