Xavier Darcy
Xavier Darcy (formerly active under the stage name "Darcy"; * 1995 as Xavier Benedict D'arcy in Inverness ) is a singer-songwriter with British and French roots who lives in Munich . He became known to a wider audience through his appearances at Ina's Night and Our Song for Lisbon .
Life
In 2014 Darcy toured Germany with MarieMarie . In spring 2015 he released his first EP with “Extended Play” , followed in autumn 2015 with his second EP “Extended Play II”. In 2017 he finally released his first album "Darcy".
Our song for Lisbon
On February 22nd, 2018 Darcy took part in "Our Song for Lisbon", the German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon . With his song “Jonah” he came in second behind Michael Schulte .
