Xenophon (architect)
Xenophon ( ancient Greek Ξενοφῶν Xenophṓn ) was an ancient Greek architect from the Athens polis . It came from the Demos Perithoidai . Attributable works have not been preserved from him. Today, it is only by a written by him Syngraphe known where he manufacturing bases for consecrated tripods on cynosarges - gymnasium in the Demos Diomeia describes. The inscription was reconstructed by Wilhelm Dörpfeld . You and with it the creative period of Xenophon goes to the middle of the 4th century BC. Dated.
