Xia Xinyi ( Chinese 夏欣怡 , Pinyin Xià Xīnyí ; born January 14, 1997 in Beijing , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese beach volleyball player .
Career
After playing several national tournaments with Wang Jie (Olympic silver 2008) in 2013, Xia Xinyi started at the age of sixteen with the world champion Xue Chen at the FIVB World Tour in October 2013 and won the last two tournaments of the year in Phuket and Durban with her . Xia Xinyi and Xue Chen finished third in the first tournament on the 2014 World Tour in Fuzhou. At the Grand Slam in Shanghai , however, the Chinese failed after the pool phase in the first knockout round.
