Xiahou

The Xiahou (夏侯) family was a powerful clan during the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China, from which numerous generals of the Wei Dynasty emerged .

Her ancestor Xiahou Ying was related to the Cao family , according to the Three Kingdoms story , and Cao Teng, Cao Cao's grandfather , married into the family, strengthening the bond between the two clans. Generals Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan in particular brought great honor to the family.
