The municipality of Xiejiaji ( Chinese  谢 家 集 区 , Pinyin Xièjiājí qū ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Huainan in the Chinese province of Anhui . The administrative area of ​​the city district has an area of ​​257 km² and has approx. 326,000 inhabitants (2019).

Xiejiaji is in the middle of Huainan; in the west the district borders on Lake Wabu and the Bagong Shan , in the north on the Huai He .

In Xiejiaji there are important cultural monuments such as the tomb of Chunshen Jun (春申君), one of the four warlords from the time of the Warring States , the ruins of the tomb of Chu King You (楚 幽王), the tomb of Yang Qizhen (杨歧珍), the admiral from the Qing Dynasty, or the Laishanji Mosque (赖 山 集 清真寺).

90 km² of Xiejiaji is arable land, 50 km² of water. Legumes and sweet potatoes, as well as Salangidae , Coiliinae and shrimp are grown in aquaculture , among other things .

The district has a coal deposit of 600 million tons, 5 million tons are mined annually. In two industrial parks there are different companies in the fields of coal washing , steel industry, mechanical engineering, chemical industry and building materials.

The administrative division of Xiejiaji was established in 1961. In 2004, the large community Yanggong (杨 公 镇) , which had previously belonged to Changfeng, and the communities Sunmiao (孙 庙乡) and Guduihuizu (孤 堆 回族 乡) were annexed to Xiejiaji.
