The city of Xingping ( Chinese  興平 市  /  兴平 市 , Pinyin Xīngpíng Shì ) is a county-level city in the prefecture -level city of Xianyang in Shaanxi Province in the People's Republic of China .

In the urban area are the maoling ( 茂陵 ) of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty , the grave of Huo Qubing ( 霍去病墓 , Huo Qubing mù ), and the tang -temporal Qingfan Pagoda ( 清梵寺塔 , Qingfan sì tǎ ), which are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
