Tanaka learned to play soccer on the school team at Yasu High School and the university team at Kansai University . He signed his first contract with Kawasaki Frontale in 2011 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed nine first division games. In August 2012 he moved to the second division team Tochigi SC . For the club, he completed four league games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor Gainare Tottori . For the club he completed 33 league games. In 2014 he moved to league competitor Mito HollyHock .
