Yūji Senuma ( Japanese 瀬 沼 優 司 , Senuma Yūji ; born September 1, 1990 in Sagamihara , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Yūji Senuma learned to play football in the school team of Toko Gakuen High School and in the university team of Tsukuba University . From August 2012 to January 2013 he was loaned from the University of Tsukuba to the first division club Shimizu S-Pulse . After the loan ended, he was signed by Shimizu in early 2013. From the beginning of 2014 to August 2014 he was loaned to the second division club Tochigi SC in Utsunomiya . Here he played 25 games in the second division, the J2 League . The 2015 and 2016 seasons he was loaned to Ehime FC , also playing in the second division . For the club from Matsuyama he completed 82 second division games and scored 16 goals. Immediately afterwards he played the 2017 season at the second division club Montedio Yamagata . After the loan ended, he was signed by Yamagata in 2018. In mid-2018 he left the club and joined league rivals Yokohama FC from Yokohama . In 2019 he celebrated the J2 runner-up with the club and rose to the top division.
