Yūki Ōkubo ( Japanese 大 久保 裕 樹 Ōkubo Yūki ; born April 17, 1984 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ōkubo learned to play soccer on the school team at Funabashi High School . He signed his first contract in 2003 with the Sanfrecce Hiroshima . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2003 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . In 2005 he moved to the second division club Kyoto Purple Sanga (today: Kyoto Sanga FC). In 2005 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. At the end of the 2007 season, the club rose again to the J1 League. For the club he completed 47 league games. In 2009 he moved to the second division Tochigi SC . For the club he completed 88 league games. In 2012 he moved to league competitor Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 20 league games. In 2014 he moved to league rivals Matsumoto Yamaga FC . In 2014 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 25 league games. In 2016 he moved to the second division team JEF United Chiba . For the club he completed 19 league games. At the end of 2017 he ended his career as a football player.
