Yacouba Sylla (born November 29, 1990 in Étampes ) is a French - Malian football player .

Career

society

Sylla was born to parents of Malian descent in Étampes, France . From 1995 to 2010 he worked in the junior departments of various clubs before he was accepted into the professional squad at Clermont Foot in 2010 . For this club he then played the following three seasons and moved to the English league at Aston Villa for the 2013/14 season .

In the summer of 2014, his club loaned him to the Turkish first division club Kayseri Erciyesspor for a period of one season.

At the beginning of the 2015/16 season he moved to Stade Rennes . In July 2016 it was awarded to HSC Montpellier for one season and immediately after the end of the year to Panathinaikos Athens for another six months . In the winter break of 2017/18, he switched to the Belgian first division club KV Mechelen .

National team

Sylla played once for the French U-21 national team in 2011 .

In 2013 he decided to continue his national team career in the Malian national team .
