Yahya Golmohammadi ( Persian یحیى گل‌محمدی, DMG Yaḥyā Gol-Muḥammadī ; * March 19, 1971 in Ardabil ) is a former Iranian soccer player . He is a trained left full-back , but has also been used in other positions in defense.

Golmohammadi made his international debut on April 21, 1997 against Kenya , where he also scored his first goal. Overall, he was 71 times for the Iranian national team on the field, scoring five goals. Most recently, he played twice for Iran at the 2006 World Cup in Germany and scored the first tournament goal for his country. In the third game he was absent due to an injury that he had committed with a yellow card and committed foul in his own half. If he hadn't been injured during this action, he would have been banned anyway because of this, his second yellow card in the preliminary round of the tournament. After the World Cup, he announced his resignation from the national team.

Golmohammadi's club career began with Tractor Sazi Tabriz . In 1993 he moved to Persepolis Tehran , in 1999 to Foolad Ahvaz . After three seasons he returned to Persepolis. There he was a regular in defense before moving to Saba Battery Tehran in 2005 . In the 2008/09 season he played for Saba Qom , where he ended his career.
