history
In the 2010/11 season, the team was fifth in the Persian Gulf Pro League and signed Amir Ghalenoei for the following season, the master coach of the two previous seasons. After Amir Ghalenoei left the club, Tractor signed António José Conceição Oliveira.
Tractor Sazi played in the Asian Cup (AFC) for the first time in the 2012/13 season. The first game was a home game against al-Jazira Club , which ended 3-1. António José Conceição Oliveira was released on May 2, 2013. During the 2013/14 season he became a coach again and was able to win the Iranian Cup with his team and thus automatically qualify for the Asian Champions League (AFC) 2014/15. The team won their first game in the AFC 1-0 against al-Ittihad .
In the 2014/15 season, Tractor Sazi narrowly missed winning the championship in the Persian Gulf Pro League and finished in second place. The last matchday on May 15, 2015 turned into a historic scandal in the Iranian league, as the team of Tractor Sazi felt they were safe champions during the game against Naft with a score of 3: 3 and played according to the instructions of the coach safe keeping of the result. The reason for this was an official announcement over the stadium loudspeakers towards the end of the game, according to which the competitor from Isfahan had already ended his game with a draw. In fact, Sepahan Isfahan's game ended 2-0 and Tractor needed a win to win the championship. The celebrating fans and team learned of this fact only three minutes after the final whistle. The joy quickly turned into anger and incomprehension. Rioting and protests broke out.
