Gostaresh Foolad is an Iranian football club from Tabriz , East Azerbaijan .
history
The association was founded on March 1st, 2008. The team played in the third Iranian league in their first season, but immediately celebrated promotion to the Azadegan League . In the 2012/2013 season they rose to the Iranian Pro League .
The team has played three times in the national Hazfi Cup (2009/2010, 2010/2011, 2011/2012). The greatest success here was the finals in the 2009/2010 season. They lost to Persepolis Tehran 4-1 in the final .
