Amir Ghalenoei
Ardashir Ghalenoei (born July 9, 1963 in Tehran ) is a former Iranian football player and current coach . He is currently the head coach of Zob Ahan Isfahan .
Career as a coach
In the 2005/06 season he led the Iranian club Esteghlal Tehran , for whom he had once played, to the championship in the Iranian Pro League . On July 17, 2007 he was the successor of the Croatian Branko Ivanković national coach of the Iranian national team . After the quarter-finals in the Asian Cup 2007 , Ghalenoei retired as a coach.
After negotiations with the Uzbek champions FC Pakhtakor Tashkent , he signed a contract with the Iranian club Mes Kerman on January 1, 2008 . In 2008 he returned to Esteghlal and repeated his success from 2006. After moving to Sepahan Isfahan , he won two consecutive championships with this club.
