The Yakawa Kang is a mountain in the Himalayas in Nepal .

The Yakawa Kang has a height of 6482  m and is located in the Damodar Himal massif . On its southern flank, 1.66 km south of the summit, lies the 5416  m high Thorong La mountain pass . Beyond Thorong La is the 6484  m Khatung Kang .

The first ascent of Yakawa Kang was made on November 7, 2010 by a group of 4 (Hidenobu Tsuji with the Sherpas Dawa Norbu, Dawa Tshering and Tshering Tashi).
