Yakup Demir (born February 15, 1992 in Karakoçan ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Demir started with club football in the youth of Elazığspor and then played for the youth teams of Yıldızgücü SK. He started his professional career in 2011 with Keçiören Sportif , a fourth division club in the Turkish capital Ankara . He then played in turn for a period of one season each with the clubs Adıyamanspor , Keçiörengücü and Van Büyükşehir Belediyespor . With Keçiörengücü he finished the TFF 3rd Lig as a champion and thus achieved promotion to the TFF 2nd Lig .

For the 2015/16 season he was signed by the second division Adanaspor . With this club, Kocaoğlu ended the season as a second division champion and rose to the Süper Lig. In the second ascent of his career, he was involved with nine league appearances. After the rise he was loaned to the Istanbul third division team Sarıyer SK .
