Yan Ni ( Chinese  颜 妮 , Pinyin Yán Nī ; born March 2, 1987 in Shenyang , Liaoning Province ) is a Chinese volleyball player .

Yan became the Asian champion with the Chinese national team in 2015 and won the World Cup in Japan . A year later, the middle blocker won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . In 2018, Lin won bronze with the national team at the Nations League and the World Cup in Japan and won the Asian Games in Jakarta . In 2019 she won the World Cup in Japan.

Yan also played beach volleyball in her youth and from 2005 at Liaoning Brilliance Auto, where she won the Chinese championship in 2006.

In her career, Yan has received many awards as “Most Valuable Player ( MVP )” and “Best (Middle) Blocker” both at national team and club level .
