The Yanamax (also Yanamax I ) is a mountain in Tian Shan in Xinjiang ( PR China ).
The 6357 m (according to other sources 6332 m ) high glaciated mountains located in the district of Bay in the administrative district of Aksu . The mountain rises east of the Muzart glacier . A 4640 m high saddle separates the Yanamax from the Xuelian Feng massif to the west .
The Yanamax forms the dominance reference point to Denali ( Mount McKinley ), the highest mountain in North America, 7451 km away .

The first ascent of the Yanamax was made on August 25, 2008 by Bruce Normand and Guy McKinnon .
Minor peaks
A mountain ridge leads to the 1.86 km north-north-west of the sub-peak Yanamax II ( 6180 m ⊙ ).
