Yanelis Yuliet "Yanely" Labrada Díaz (born October 8, 1981 ) is a former Cuban Taekwondoin .
Career
Yanelis Labrada was in Lima in 1998 in the weight class up to 43 kilograms Pan American champion. At Pan American Games , she won bronze in the weight class up to 49 kilograms in 1999 in Winnipeg , before winning the gold medal in Santo Domingo in 2003 . Also in 2003 she reached the final fight of the world championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the weight class up to 51 kilograms , in which she was defeated by Lee Ji-hye . The following year she took part in the Olympic Games in Athens , where she reached the final after two victories. She lost it to Chen Shih-hsin 4-5 and received the silver medal.
