Yang Qianyu ( Chinese  楊倩玉  /  杨倩玉 , Pinyin Yáng Qiànyù , Jyutping Joeng 4 Sin 3 juk 6 , born March 7, 1993 ) is a cyclist from Hong Kong who is active on the track and road .

Athletic career

In 2013, Yang Qianyu won the Hong Kong team pursuit on the track together with Xiao Juan Diao , Meng Zhao Juan and Jamie Wong . Up to and including 2017, she won three more national titles on the track and won silver in various track disciplines at Asian cycling championships, in scratch , in points race and with Pang Yao , Leung Bo Yee and Diao Xiaojuan in the team pursuit.

From 2016, Yang was also increasingly successful on the streets. That year she won the Tour of Thailand and became the Hong Kong time trial champion. In 2017 she became the first female cyclist from Hong Kong to become Asian road racing champion. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 she was national road champion.
