Meng Zhao Juan , according to the official orthography of Pinyin Meng Zhaojuan , ( Chinese  孟昭娟 , Pinyin Mèng Zhāojuān , Jyutping Maang 6 Ziu 1 jyun 1 , born December 14, 1989 , Tongliao in Inner Mongolia , China ) is a Chinese cyclist from Hong Kong who competes in races on track and road .

Athletic career

In 2010, Meng Zhao Juan first attracted international attention when she won the bronze medal in the team sprint with Lee Wai-sze at the Asian championships and was tenth in the same discipline with Lee at the World Track Championships . The following year Meng and Lee won the bronze medal again at the Asian Cup . In total she won four bronze medals and two silver medals at continental championships.

By 2017 Meng was Hong Kong champion eight times, five times on the track and three times, in 2014 - 2015 and 2016 - in road racing .

In 2016 Meng was nominated to start in the sprint at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , but did not start.
