Yang Seung-kook (born August 19, 1944 ) is a former North Korean football player . With the national team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , he took part in the 1966 World Cup in England ; here Yang Seung-kook with the shirt number “15” played two games against Italy (group stage) and Portugal (quarter-finals), in the game against Portugal he scored the 3-0 - against the Soviet Union and Chile (both group stage) was Yang Seung-kook not used. In 1966 he was under contract with Kikwancha Pyongyang . In other games listed by FIFA , the 171 centimeter left winger (referred to as the attacker at the World Cup ) was not used. In 2001 he worked as a trainer for the multiple cup winner The Tobacconists .

Yang Seung-kook was seen in the documentary The Game of Their Lives in October 2002 .
