Yanshi

The independent city of Yanshi ( Chinese 偃師 市 / 偃师 市 , Pinyin Yǎnshī Shì ) belongs to the administrative area of the independent city of Luoyang in the west of the Chinese province of Henan . The administrative area of the city of Yanshi has an area of 948.4 km² and approx. 830,000 inhabitants (end of 2003). The Erlitou site of the Bronze Age Erlitou culture is located in the large community of Zhaizhen .
Administrative structure
At the community level, Yanshi consists of 13 large communities and three communities . These are:
- Greater community Chengguan (城关镇), center, seat of the city government;
- Greater community Shouyangshan (首阳山镇);
- Greater community Dianzhuang (佃庄镇);
- Greater community Zhaizhen (翟镇镇);
- Greater community Yuetan (岳滩镇);
- Greater community Guxian (顾县镇);
- Greater community Goushi (缑氏镇);
- Greater community Fudian (府店镇);
- Greater community Gaolong (高龙镇);
- Greater community Koudian (寇店镇);
- Greater community Pangcun (庞村镇);
- Licun municipality (李 村镇);
- Greater community Zhuge (诸葛镇);
- Shanhua Township (山 化 乡);
- Community mangling (邙岭乡);
- Dakou parish (大 口 乡).
