Yassir Sliti (born May 21, 1982 in Larache , Morocco ) is an English volleyball player .

Career

The native African Sliti started his volleyball career in London with TH Lynx . He then played for Docklands before going to Long Beach University in 2001 . After completing his university education, he was active in Örkelljunga , Sweden, in 2005/06 . From 2006 to 2008 he played in the Netherlands for Martinus Amstelveen , which was identical to the British national team in the second season , in which Sliti made his debut in August 2006. In 2009/10 the diagonal attacker continued his career at Al-Wakrah SC in Qatar and then moved to the Belgian first division club Prefaxis Menen . From 2011 to 2012 he played for the German Bundesliga club TV Rottenburg and fought in vain for his participation in the Olympic Games in London .
