Yeoford is a village near the town of Crediton in Devon in south-west England . It was named after the Yeo River , which flows through the village. Yeoford is the capital of the municipality ( Parish ) Crediton Hamlets . The post office was closed in 2008 as part of rationalization measures.

Transport links

The Yeoford station was a railway node between the Exeter and Barnstaple connecting Tarka Line with the Dartmoor line to Okehampton . The Tarka Line is now back in service, having been closed for 30 years since 1972.
