Yiğitcan Gölboyu (born May 12, 1992 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Gölboyu was born in Konak, a famous district of the Turkish port city of Izmir, and started playing club football in the youth of Izmir Gençlik Spor İl Müdürlüğü SK and in 2006 switched to the youth of the traditional Altay Izmir club . Here he received a professional contract in 2010, but played another year for the club's reserve team. For the 2011/12 season he was then to the fourth division Aydınspor 1923 and made his professional debut with this club. At the end of the season he returned to Altay and then left the club towards fourth division Çorum Belediyespor . At this club he immediately won a regular place and was one of the top performers on his team.

In the summer of 2013 he moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig to Adanaspor . With this club he became champions of the TFF 1st Lig in the 2015/16 season and rose to the Süper Lig . For the 2017/18 season he left the Mediterranean club after four years and moved on to the third division Gümüşhanespor .
