Yi-Shu-Si river network

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Yi-Shu-Si river network ( Chinese  沂沭泗 河水 , Pinyin Yí-Shù-Sì Héshuǐxì , English Yi-Shu-Si River System ) has its origins - the eponymous rivers Yi He ( 沂河 ), Shu He ( 沭河 ) and Si He ( 泗 河 ) - in the Yimeng Shan ( 沂蒙 山 ) mountains of the Chinese province of Shandong . They flow south towards Jiangsu Province and flow into the Yellow Sea . The river network consists of many tributaries and belongs to the Huai He river network. The Kaiserkanal (Great Canal) in the east connects the Huai He ( 淮河 ), the Yi-Shu-Si river network as well as the Yangtze and the Yellow Rivers .
