Yngvar's saga víðförla
Yngvars saga víðförla ( Saga of Yngvar the Well-traveled ) is an Icelandic saga from the late 12th century. She tells of an army expedition of the Varangian Yngvar to Georgia. The saga contains many legendary elements. The Yngvar saga is one of the best historically documented Icelandic sagas. Varangian warriors were mentioned on numerous rune stones at Lake Mälaren in Uppland , who traveled to Serkland with an Ingvar and died there.
