Yohan Croizet (born February 15, 1992 in Sarrebourg , Moselle department ) is a French football player who is under contract with Oud-Heverlee Leuven .
Career
Yohan Croizet grew up in Sarrebourg and began playing football at FC Sarrebourg before joining the FC Metz youth academy ( Center de Formation ) . In the summer of 2011, Croizet rose to the second team and played his first game for the professional team in Ligue 2 in August 2011 . In the professional team he could not prevail and was only one of the regular players in the reserve team.
For the 2013/14 season, Croizet moved to the Belgian second division club Royal Excelsior Virton , where he fought for a regular place and scored six goals in 31 games in the Belgian second division. After a year he moved to Oud-Heverlee Löwen . As a regular player, he rose with the team in Division 1A . In two years, Croizet played 69 competitive games for Oud-Heverlee Löwen. For the 2016/17 season he moved to KV Mechelen and missed the qualifying games with the club for participation in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League . Croizet was also a regular at KV Mechelen until he left.
On January 1, 2018, he moved to the USA for the MLS club Sporting Kansas City and signed a contract that ran until 2020 with an option for another year. After he had not been part of the matchday squad since the beginning of August 2019, the amicable termination of his contract was agreed at the end of September 2019.
At first Croizet was then without a club. At the beginning of February 2020 he returned to Belgium and signed a new contract with Oud-Heverlee Leuven in Division 1B .
