Yohannes Bahcecioglu (born February 26, 1988 in Cologne ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

Career

Bahcecioglu played as a youth in Leverkusen, Cologne and Bonn before joining 1. FC Köln at the age of 18 . There he played a year of A-Jugend before moving to the defensive midfield of the Oberliga team. In the 2007/08 season he came there still mainly as a substitute for 20 missions. The team qualified for the new Regionalliga West and after initial difficulties due to injuries, the German-Turkish established himself as a regular player in the last third of the new season. In his third year in the U-23 of the Domstadt team, he was on the starting line-up in 31 games, but he did not succeed in making the first team.

Therefore, he moved to the second division Rot-Weiß Oberhausen for the 2010/11 season . At first he didn't make the leap into the team there, also because he had health problems. When he made his first appearance on matchday 21, Oberhausen was already in the middle of a relegation battle. In his second game he contributed with his first professional goal to the 2-0 victory over SC Paderborn 07 . After two more missions, however, he was followed by bad luck. He suffered a torn hamstring three times in a row and was absent from the team. He only returned for the last two games of the season and could not avert relegation to the 3rd division with RWO. Also in the 3rd league 2011/12 he only made five appearances and was relegated to the Regionalliga West with RWO . His contract was not renewed and he was without a club for half a year. In January 2013 Bahcecioglu joined the Middle Rhine division Hilal Maroc Bergheim , with whom he was relegated from the Oberliga in 2013/14 .

After another season at Hilal Maroc Bergheim, he left the club in summer 2014. Bahcecioglu then paused until February 2016. He signed a contract with SC West Cologne in the Kreisliga A.
