PSI Yurdumspor Cologne was a football club from Cologne founded by Turkish migrants . The PSI on behalf of the association stands for P artner S tadt I stanbul . At the beginning of the 2006/07 season, the club withdrew all teams from the game.

First team

The first team was in 2003 under coach Nissim Beniesch Mittelrheinmeister and played in 2003/04 and 2004/05 in the Oberliga Nordrhein . By 2003 the club made a remarkable series of promotions in a row (six promotions within nine years; from the district league B up to the major league). However, Yurdumspor stopped playing on February 1, 2006 due to a lack of sponsors and was therefore determined to be relegated.

youth

The PSI Yurdumspor was known for its youth work. He had continuous youth teams in the age groups from A-Youth to D-Youth and also offered goalkeeping and fitness training. All teams played in high leagues (A-Youth Association League , Youth B Regional , C Youth District League ). The professional soccer player Jens Hegeler is a former youth player of the club.
