Aleksandar Sarić (born January 27, 1974 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian football goalkeeper who last played for FK Čukarički Stankom .

From 2015 to 2019 he was the goalkeeping coach at Chicago Fire .

Career

During his fourteen years professional career, Sarić played for clubs in six countries: Serbia , Germany , Portugal , Israel , Romania and Austria . The Slovakia was after he of the seventh country Austria Kärnten to DAC Dunajska Streda is changed.

From 1986 to 1995 he was a goalkeeper in three youth clubs. He then played for the Serbian club FK Obilić , then in Germany for FC Carl Zeiss Jena , in Portugal for União Madeira and for the two clubs from Israel Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Petah Tikva . According to the reviews of the Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz , Sarić was the best goalkeeper in the Israeli Leumit league during the 1999/00 season .

In Romania, Sarić played for FC Timișoara . Then he was back in Portugal, but this time he was with Varzim SC . In the 2006/07 season he played for the Austrian club SC / ESV Parndorf and then moved to SK Austria Kärnten .
