Yorgo Voyagis
Yorgo Voyagis ( Greek Γιώργος Βογιατζής Giorgos Vogiatzis ; born December 6, 1945 in Athens ) is a Greek film actor .
Life
Yorgo Voyagis stands since 1964 in front of the camera, and debuted in Zorba the Greek on the side of Anthony Quinn . However, he only became known in 1977 through his portrayal of the carpenter Joseph in Franco Zeffirelli's film adaptation of the Bible, Jesus of Nazareth .
In 2002, Voyagis starred alongside Madonna in Swept Away .
It is known about Voyagis' private life that he was married to the Italian actress and singer Nadia Cassini in the 1970s , and that their daughter Kassandra Voyagis later also became an actress. During the shooting of his most recent film appearance ( Promakhos , 2014), both stood together in front of the camera. Voyagis has been married to Diana Skorits since 2005.
