history
Founding period (2008-2009)
You Don't Know Me was founded on October 1st, 2008 in Offenbach am Main . In the year it was founded, YDK? ME hosted a total of four teams in three different games. There was a German and an Austrian CS: 1.6 team, an Austrian CS: S line-up, and an international Warcraft 3 squad. The German CS: 1.6 team stood out especially at the beginning . So it was able to take first places at The Summit and the ClanBase Open Cup in the year it was founded . The Austrian team also achieved an outstanding performance in the following year and achieved first place in the Austrian ESL Pro Series in Seasons VII and VIII. In the same year, the performance of the German CS: 1.6 team decreased only slightly: In the course of the year the team only achieved places in the midfield in the ESL Pro Series, but at the end of the year the team flourished again. First place was achieved at Northcon in December 2009. In 2010, the CS: 1.6 team met expectations with midfield placements in the German ESL Pro Series.
Restructuring (2010-2014)
In December 2010 the two core players Christopher "MYS" Seidemann and Julian "hool" Walter left the German CS: 1.6 team and in January 2011 the team was restructured. Although both players could be replaced quickly, the team failed to match the performance of the previous years and then broke up at the end of 2011, as the gaming community's interest in the CS: 1.6 area declined sharply. This was also one of the reasons why YDK? ME tried to find teams in different gaming areas. YDK? ME was able to show a comparatively strong line-up in the 1on1 area of Quake Live . In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 , Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II , there were briefly team, but they were closed due to the lack of interest from the gaming community after each year.
today
YDK? ME currently only owns teams in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and World of Tanks . The new CS: GO team had its first success at the beginning of 2015: The team managed to play in the cups of the ESL summer championship, but did not qualify for the finals. Furthermore, the offline finals of Bavaria's best gamers were reached.
