Youssef Toutouh (born August 6, 1992 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player with Moroccan roots. The midfielder is currently without a club and was most recently under contract with FC Copenhagen .

Career

Born and raised in Denmark as the son of Moroccan immigrants, Toutouh comes from the youth teams of Hvidovre IF and made his men's debut on 3 October 2010 in a 1: 2 on matchday nine of the 2010/11 second division season against Roskilde FC . At the end of the season, the club rose from bottom of the table in the third division.

Then Toutouh moved to the first division for FC Copenhagen . At the end of his first season, in which he could not prevail, the record champions only finished second in the table. In September 2012, Toutou moved on loan to the promoted Esbjerg fB and won the Danish Cup with the club from Esbjerg at the end of the season and finished sixth in the league. He scored the 1-0 winner in the cup final against Randers FC . Toutouh then returned to FC Copenhagen and made his European debut on September 17, 2013 in a 1-1 draw in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League against Juventus Turin . At the end of the 2013/14 season Toutouh took second place in the table with FC Copenhagen again, but missed the end of the season due to a broken foot. In the 2014/15 season , Toutouh was runner-up with the Copenhagen team for the third time in a row, but in 2016 he celebrated the first championship title of his career. A year later , the club managed to defend its title. In the 2017/18 season , FC Copenhagen finished in a disappointing fourth place in the championship round. Toutouhs' contract ran until June 30, 2018.

National team

Toutouh played one game for the Danish U20 team and 13 for the Danish U21 national team .

On January 26, 2016, he announced that he would play for the Moroccan national team in the future.
