Youssouf Mhadjou (born June 5, 1990 ) is a former Comorian athlete who specialized in sprinting .

biography

Youssouf Mhadjou competed at the African Games in 2007 over 100 and 200 meters, but could not qualify for the next round in his prelim . The following year he started at the African Championships over 100 meters and reached the semi-finals. Furthermore, he took part in the Junior World Championships in 2008 in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz , but also failed in the run-up.

This was followed by participation in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing . In the competition over 100 meters , he finished sixth in his preliminary run and was therefore unable to qualify for the following rounds.

At the Junior African Championships in 2009 he competed over 100 and 200 meters and reached the finals in both competitions, while he was disqualified in the 100 meter race, he managed to win the gold medal over 200 meters. Two weeks later, at the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin , he started over 100 meters, but was also eliminated here in the preliminary run.

This was followed by participation in the 2010 African Athletics Championships .
