Yu Yuzhen (born March 5, 1998 ) is a Chinese javelin thrower .

Athletic career

Yu Yuzhen gained her first international experience in 2015 at the Youth Asian Championships in Doha , where she won the gold medal with a new U18 world record of 61.97 m. She then took seventh place at the World Youth Championships in Cali with a width of 51.51 m. The following year she took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , but retired there with 46.99 m in qualification. In 2019 she took part in the World Championships in Doha and was eliminated there with 53.38 m in qualification .
