Yuan Xinyue ( Chinese  袁 心 玥 , Pinyin yuán xīn yuè ; born December 21, 1996 in Chongqing ) is a Chinese volleyball player .

Yuan plays in the Chinese national team and was runner-up in Italy in 2014 . In 2015 she became Asian champion and won the World Cup in Japan . A year later, she won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . In 2018, Yuan won bronze with the national team at the Nations League and at the World Cup in Japan and won the Asian Games in Jakarta . In 2019 she again won bronze in the Nations League and again the World Cup in Japan.

Yuan played with Guangdong Evergrande from 2013 to 2014 and then with Bayi Shenzhen , with whom she won the Chinese championship in 2015. In 2017/18, the middle blocker was loaned to Jiangsu Zenith Steel and was third in the championship.

Yuan has received many awards in her career as “Most Valuable Player ( MVP )” and “Best (Middle) Blocker”.
