Yun Chi-yeong (born February 10, 1898 in Hanseong , then Korea , now South Korea ; † February 9, 1996 in Seoul , South Korea) was an independence activist and politician of South Korea. He used the pseudonym Dongsan ( kor .: 동산 ). He was the country's first interior minister in 1948 and was a member of the South Korean parliament for the first, second and third electoral terms. After leaving parliament in 1956, he taught at a university for three years.
From 1963 to March 1966, he was the mayor of Seoul .
In 1968 he became chairman of the Minju Gonghwadong ( 민주 공화당 ) party of the then South Korean President Park Chung-hee .
