Yung-Han Kim

Yung-Han Kim ( Korean 김영한 ; born October 18, 1946 in Busan ) is a South Korean professor of theology and ordained pastor .

Career

Yung-Han Kim was Professor of Systematic Theology and Christian Philosophy at Soongsil University for 34 years . In 1996 he founded the Korean Reformed Theological Society and served as its president until 2004. He founded the Graduate School for Christian Studies at Soongsil University and was its dean until 2004 .

Kim was a founding member of Academia Christiana in 1982 and has served as President ever since. On June 20, 2010, he incorporated the Shalomnabi citizens' initiative, which he chairs.

He has published over 20 books on systematic theology and Christian philosophy and more than 30 articles in the journal and magazines of the Korean Evangelical Theological Society such as: B. On the identity of Korean Evangelical Theology - Tward the Reformed Evangelical Theology , and writes essays in the areas of dogmatics (such as the Heidelberg Catechism 1563), Reformed theology, Calvinism , contemporary theology, hermeneutics , Christian culture, and Christian spirituality .

Kim was also President of the Korean Evangelical Theological Society from 2000 to 2002, Chairman of the Korean Society for Hermeneutics from 2004 to 2006, and President of the Korean Society for Christian Philosophy from 2006 to 2012.
