The Yurung Shan (also Yurung Shan I ) is a mountain of the Kunlun mountain range on the border of the autonomous regions of Xinjiang and Tibet .
The Yurung Shan is located in the western section of the Kunlun. The mountain has a height of 6778 m and is located in the middle of a glaciated region. The mountain is located 6.85 km east-southeast of Chongshe Shan . The Yurung Shan is located in the headwaters of the Yurungkax , a tributary of the Tarim . The glaciers on its east and northwest flanks flow north and feed the river. The southern flank of the mountain is south to endorheic lake Guozha Lake drained.
Yurung Shan II
A mountain ridge leads from the main summit to the 6767 m high secondary summit Yurung Shan II ( ⊙ ), which is 1.16 km north-northeast . The notch height is 367 m.
