Yūzō Iwakami ( Japanese 岩 上 祐 三 Iwakami Yūzō ; born July 28, 1989 in Koga ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Iwakami learned to play soccer on the school team at Maebashi Commercial High School and the university team at Tokai University . He signed his first contract with Shonan Bellmare in 2011 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2012 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . For the club he completed 31 league games. In August 2013 he moved to the second division club Matsumoto Yamaga FC . In 2014 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 87 league games. In 2016 he moved to league competitor Omiya Ardija . For the club, he completed 46 top division games. In 2018 he returned to second division Matsumoto Yamaga FC. In 2018 he became champion of the J2 League with the club and rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 57 league games. In 2020 he moved to the second division Thespakusatsu Gunma .
